Who We Are
Vanessa Lopez
Director of Veasey Park
Vanessa joined the Veasey team in 2015 but has been involved as a local resident and volunteer since 2013. Her background in nonprofit work and love for the arts as well as nature, made working for the park a natural fit. When she isn't hosting events or writing grants, she spends her time travelling with her partner and their three kids or testing out crafts with the family.

Carole Funchion
Program and Communications Coordinator
Carole has been part of the Veasey Team since 2016. Trained in textile design at the SMFA in Boston, with a B.A. in Sculpture, she is thrilled to regularly spend time playing in nature, and inviting the community to create art.
Doug Soper
Facilities Manager
Doug has been part of the Veasey Team since 2008. He worked as a police officer in Beverly before retiring. What began as a volunteer role soon became a position management team at the Park. When he's not fixing something or solving problems, he's relaxing at the pool with his daughter and girlfriend.
