VOLUNTEER

As a non-profit organization, we could not exist without the hard work and kind hearts of our volunteers.  If you have time and skills to offer, we are always grateful for help.

We have many one-time projects and recurring events we could use help with throughout the year, such as:

  • Renovation of the buildings and other construction type projects

  • Upkeep of the grounds (pruning, gardening, etc)

  • The Winter Festival

  • The Spring Flea Market

  • This Summer's Rubbish to Runway fundraiser

  • The Fall Fairy House Festival

We have been very fortunate over the years to receive some financial support from the Community Preservation Fund. It helped us do some much needed repairs. We were able to rebuild exterior walkways, re-construct chimneys and historical fireplaces, and repair interior floors. However, with a property this size and age, there is always more work to be done than money and workers on hand.

 

Not everyone is physically able to help us, but would like to donate materials or money for our projects. If you have leftover supplies after that remodel or would like to get rid of tools you no longer use, we would be happy to put them to use here. We are always in need of indoor and out door lumber, nails, wheelbarrows, edgers…and the list goes on.  Contact us to find out what is on our wish list.
