Join artist, Jenn Houle of the "Plant, Paint, Cross-Pollinate" project, kick off the community art mural project, Field of Butterflies! Don't forget a scarf to make your own butterfly wings!

2-2:30 Butterfly wings, garden & butterfly art tour - bring a light-weight, dress-up scarf

2:30-3:30 Butterfly seed eggs & butterfly sign painting - wear clothes that can get messy!

3:30-4 Wrap Up & Field of Butterflies - add your butterfly sign to the field and take photos!

Learn about the importance of native plants to butterflies & all pollinators during a short tour of Veasey's native plant garden & butterfly art installations. Hear more about 'Plant Paint Cross-Pollinate,' a tandem public art project led by Jenn Houle. Bring your own light-weight, dress-up scarf to make DIY wearable butterfly wings.
