Watch Laura & Steve’s wedding unfold at Veasey Park: a joyful, personalized celebration that reflects everything our venue stands for. This real wedding video, generously shared by the couple and filmed by Mark Battle Films, showcases the warmth, creativity, and natural beauty that make Veasey Park a truly special place to say “I do.”
For "Weddings with a Cause," we should
keep 4–6 images here that reflect Veasey’s values — community, conservation, joy. Prioritize:
-
Candid moments with guests
-
Nature-forward shots (meadow, shoreline, forest)
-
Couples who’ve engaged with Veasey’s mission (e.g., local, eco-conscious, community-connected)
Include captions like:
-
“A couple celebrating with locally sourced florals and a community-first mindset”
-
“Summer ceremony surrounded by conservation land”
Weddings with a Cause
Our historical venue is located on 48 acres of conservation land and owned by the Town of Groveland. The Groveland Conservation Commission and Friends of Veasey use proceeds from private events to cover their own staffing and operating costs, as well as hosting community programming such as classes and workshops, Fairy House Festival, Winter Festival, Rubbish to Runway Fashion Show, and Ice Cream Social. Funding also goes to special projects like the creation of our future teaching forest and to creating affordable art studio spaces. We collaborate with several organizations to offer creative, cultural, and nature opportunities for people all ages and abilities. The dollars spent at Veasey stay in the local community.
