Thanks to all of you wonderful volunteers, we succeeded in completely planting the re-wilding areas of the People’s Forest at Veasey Park! We had perfect weather, lots of smiling faces (even digging some rock!), great food, and 160 seasoned and brand new gardeners from under 10 to over 80. A real community effort.Â
To those of you willing to come tomorrow if needed, thank you but you can take a day of rest. We certainly plan to!
If anybody needs paperwork to report your volunteer hours to some organization and did not get it the day of, please reach out to me.
